The Wiremold 4000 Series Raceway is the workhorse of surface cable raceway systems. The multiple channel cable raceway can be divided for multi-service applications and is ideal for all applications requiring a large cable capacity dual service steel raceway. Commercial, institutional and industrial applications all benefit from the Wiremold 4000 Series rigid steel construction and durable Ivory ScuffCoat finish. 1. What kind of adhesive to use for installing on the floor? 2. What kind of tool to use to cut the raceway?
Hello,
Use of #8 flat head fastener's or equivalent should be used to properly secure the raceway base to the surface as indicated in our installation instructions.
The local Authority Having Jurisdiction should be consulted for approval of any installation not specifically covered in our instructions.
640B (base cutter) and 640C (cover cutter) are recommended to cut the 4000 steel base and cover.

What does the "V" indicate for V4000B-10?

Is there a bump up plate for CAT 6A jacks to satisfy bend radius
Hi,
The bump up plate we offer would be V4047US (ivory) or G4047UX (gray). You would need to use our AVIP plates in those and they can accept up to 4 single space modules in it. AV9008BK is the AVIP plate that has a keystone opening so you could mount a keystone style jack into it. Do they make 4000 wiremold in white?
Hi Dan,
Gray and Ivory are the standard colors for the 4000 series raceway. White from the factory would be a custom. The raceway could also be field painted. To paint a steel raceway, first sand the surface lightly with fine 180-grit sandpaper. Then apply primer on the surface and paint the raceway, using only oil-based enamel paint.
