And, create custom lighting settings to control lights from your smartphone or tablet via the Legrand Lighting Control app. Also compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Home. Made exclusively for use with screwless Wall Plates from the adorne® Collection, sold separately.

If I flip the switch "off," will the app or Alexa integration still be able to control the switch? Example: I have hue bulbs that need my dumb switch turned "on," to use any app or smart features for the bulb.

The ASWRRRW1 is a Remote switch and designed to be used with a Master switch to create a 3way.

There is also a similar item called "master" wifi switch. What is the difference?

You need a master dimmer to control your light and the remotes are used if you want to also control the same light from another location(like a 3way).
