LifeSaver
I recieved The 3A Hybrid C/C USB Charger Receptacle to review and my husband put it in and it was super easy. You can charge 2 phones or tablets and plug up 2 other things like your tv or lamp. It charged my phone and Bluetooth rather quickly without any problems. The receptacle is a LifeSaver because you don't have to worry about and extra cord to plug up multiple things & I'm always hogging the plugs when charging my devices. I recommend you go get you a 3A Hybrid C/C USB Charger Receptacle

Charging galore
Installed near end table where we can have multiple devices charging at once. Can charge 4 devices at once. 2 with the usb-c ports and 2 with regular wall chargers or whatever you want to plug in. Easy to install and makes the wiring neat looking. Highly recommend.

Confusing to install
Very confusing on how to install the plug and once installed the USB ports weren’t made for a phone that we had. It’s a C plug and I’m not sure what kind of phone or device uses a C type plug. The other outlets worked as normal though

Convenience of 2 outlets and 2 USB chargers!
This Hybrid C/C USB Charger Receptacle has been great in my home office. It was easy to install and looks neat with no bulky plugs to plug in to charge your phones/ tablets. I did it myself without any help and planning to replace another one in my study. It is a great quality product. Highly recommend!

Questions & Answers
Are you able to charge a MacBook Pro and a iPhone at the same time?
Well, yes.. but, No! The problem is the amount of powered delivered. You will get some power, but not nearly enough. What you must consider is the power required and the power available. This outlet can provide 15 watts. What does your MacBook Pro require... 45 watts? 65 watts? Look on your Apple provided charger. This will provide 15 watts total. 15 out of one port, or 15 divided between the two...

My USB-C ports stopped working. Is there a reset or something I should do?
You can try resetting the breaker to the receptacle and if it still doesn't work, contact Technical Support.

Does this work to charge Apple iPhone 12 pro that uses 20W USB-C Power Adapter
Yes, it will work but you might want to use R26USBCC6 (Ultra Fast Charger) instead for a faster charge.

Would this be able to run a nest outdoor IQ camera? If not do you have a model that would?
It would depend on which Nest Camera you have. It looks like there are several models.
According to the link below, a Google Nest Cam Indoor requires 5VDC at 1A; yet the Google Nest Cam IQ Indoor requires15VDC at 1.0A.
https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9259110?hl=en
The R26USBCCW can source 5VDC at 3.1A, so that may work, but it will not provide 15VDC for the IQ model.

Both my USB C ports stopped working after a week. The regular appliance plugs work fine. Anyway to reset the ports or is my outlet broken?
You can try resetting the breaker to the device to see if that clears up the issue with the UBS ports.

Does this product support any of the current (2018) "fast charging" protocols? Is there any "charging intelligence" that protects the device being charged? What is the maximum amperage if using only one of the two USB-C ports?
Thank you for your question regarding the Radiant TYPE C/C USB CHARGERS WITH DUPLEX 15A TAMPER-RESISTANT OUTLET, WHITE
This device does not meet "quick charge" protocols. The USB power supply has built-in over-current protection as well as output short circuit protection. It will automatically turn off the USB output if it detects any of these conditions. The AC receptacles will continue to supply AC power (they are separate from the USB power). The USB output will automatically turn back on once it senses that it
is safe to do so (i.e. the fault condition has been removed). The maximum amperage on one USB port is 3.1A.
