Questions & Answers

The 2151 pilot light wires aren't marked, both are solid black & no reference docs available online. Just a quick sanity check: this just a passthrough for the hot wire?

Asked by: Andrew G
Thank you for your inquiry. One wire must go on switch leg/hot, and the other to neutral, and either wire can be utilized for either hot or neutral.

Do you have a similar pilot light for wall box but that could work with 24Vac instead of 120Vac?

Asked by: Shady Artin
We do not currently have a low-voltage pilot light to offer from Pass and Seymour.

Can the 2151 be wired next to a switch to be on when the switch is off or is it strictly fed thru the feed doing to the light? Can't tell if one lead is neutral or if it's just a pass thru for hot

Asked by: Tom Sisson
Three years late, but this could be done using a 3 way switch, with your switched load wired to one of the traveler terminals, and the pilot light wired to the other. It does still require a neutral wire in the box.
