Questions & Answers

Wiring diagram for 3 sensors.

Asked by: Jared Cattooo
You can include up to 4 PW-301's in a multi-way configuration. Simply add switches to the wiring diagram shown in the installation instructions which can be found at the following URL: https://www.legrand.us/lighting-controls-and-systems/occupancy-and-vacancy-sensors/wall-switch-occupancy-and-vacancy-sensors/pir-wall-switch-occupancy-sensor-white/p/pw-301-w The additional switches would be added in a similar fashion to the leftmost switcch in the wiring diagram, with the load wires capped off on all but one of the switches, which is connected to the load.

Is a PW-301 suitable for a 3 way application?

Asked by: Anonymous
Hello, The PW301 supports Multi-Way capability. Sensors can easily be wired together for convenient control of a common load. When wiring this way, only use 300 series sensors. Multi-Way in 300 series is not compatible with prior sensor models. Best Regards, Technical Support
