Questions & Answers

Sound distortion problem. I did a factory reset a few months ago and it cleared up..The problem is back. Cannot clear the issue with a reset. I know system is discontinued but is there a fw update that helps with this issue? We are running on 2020 update.

Asked by: Anonymous
There is not a firmware update to fix a distortion issue. Email this question to technicalsupport@nuvotechnologies.com. We'll gladly dig into it deeper with you. When you email, provide your name and phone number in case we need to call you back directly. Let us know what source your audio is coming from, whether it's streaming, or from one of the line-ins. Also, which specific streaming service you're using. We look forward to helping you with your issue. Worst case, if it is a hardware issue out of warranty, we are able to repair those units for a flat bench testing fee.

I replaced a NV-P3500 and when I plugged the unit in, it only allowed me to add Zone 3. I am unable to set up zones 1 and 2 via the usual button press. Is there a way to get this set up properly?

Asked by: KevinR
Reach out to us either via support@nuvotechnologies.com OR 1(800)223-4162 Option 3. There are several reasons why this might be and we needs to troubleshoot more in depth than this forum allows. Try factory defaulting Zones 1 and 2 by powering the unit off, then powering it back on and pressing the Bind button for Zone 1 until the light turns green. Then release. The unit should go blinking white then settle to a solid green. Repeat the process with the Zone 2 bind button. Once Zone 1 and Zone 2 are solid green, try binding again. If they still fail to bind, reach out via the above contact methods.
