Is this illuminated switch glow only in the on position or all the time

The 660ISLG will be illuminated when the switch is in the off position allowing you to locate the switch in a dark space.

i purchased 1 of these switches and two of the 3-way switches both for LED fixtures,now i find they are not compatible with LEDs. what do i need for LEDs. Thanks.
With the low wattage and sensitivity of LED lights, illuminated when off switches are not recommended for use with them.

Why are the lighted toggle switch's not recommended for LED's
Illuminated switches(lit when off) have a very small amount of "leak through" current that can effect CFL/LED bulbs and cause them to flicker when the switch is OFF.

I want to put this switch in a gang box next to a GFCI outlet. I want this switch to turn the outlet itself off and on. Will this switch work for that purpose?
Yes You can wire the switch to control the GFCI outlet. You would just wire the switchleg into the Line Hot terminal. Then You would have the ability to turn the receptacle on and off with the switch.

A neon bulb. Are you kidding me? A 1940's neon bulb! And the only way to find this out is to buy and wire it up? No picture of an illuminated switch actually in the dark. It's like you have something to hide.
The wiring for the illuminated switches are the same as a non-illuminated switch. If you want LED illumination that would be found on the decora style switches(ex TM870WSL)

I am considering purchasing this switch to control my outdoor porch light, which is a compact fluorescent light. I understand that some illuminated switches do not work well with CFL bulbs. Can you tell me if this switch will work with a CFL bulb?

The Illuminated switches are designed for use with incandescent/halogen bulbs and may cause any CFL/LED bulbs to flicker or glow when in the off position.
