* Existing inventory of switches, dimmers and plastic wall plates from the adorne® Collection at some partner locations may not yet include Microban® protection. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great -> Needs Neutral for LEDs Most likely you (the person reading this) are more experienced with installing switches than I am. However I was surprised to find that I needed a neutral wire to get the LED functionality to work on this. Because of this, it's not *quite* a drop in replacement for my existing, mechanical 1-pole timer. I ended up running a 14/3 romex from a neighboring outlet to solve the problem and now it works great!

Is the main switch sofTap or touch type? I assume that it is not paddle because of the many references to pushing it. Or is it a different push mechanism than either the sofTap or Touch?

The timers main switch is like the Softap style seeing you do have to apply some pressure to active the switch.

I replaced an adorne paddle switch to a bath fan w/ this manual timer switch using the original wiring setup (one wire to 1-pole and one to hot) but the fan won’t turn off (it is on when I connect the power) even if I rewire it opposite. What am I missing

The adorne timer is an electronic switch so it does require a Ground connection to function.

So, when you say you can’t pair with a paddle, you mean I can’t have a paddle for a light and a timer on a bathroom fan in a 2 gang?

You can install the timer in a 2 gang box with a Paddle switch. When using the timer in a 3way application, you can not pair it with a Paddle switch. It would need to be two timers.

Will this work for a timer on a jacuzzi tub? The motor is 10 Amps. Or is the timer limited by hp of motor??

Can this timer be paired with a half size switch on a 1-gang+ cover plate?

The body size of the timer is too large to allow it to be combined with the 1/2 size Paddle switch in a 1-gang+ cover plate.

This is listed at 600 watts and no mention of amps, Amazon has it listed as 15 amps and no mention of watts. Clearly it can't be both. Can someone clarify?

Watts = power and need to use Volts to convert to Amps if i remember correctly.

No the timer cannot be paired with a Paddle switch. It can only be paired with the exact same timer.
